Austin Maier serves as Business Manager and Financial Secretary of IBEW Local 111, representing approximately 4,500 members statewide across the utility and construction sectors, including workers at Public Service Company of Colorado (Xcel Energy). His work includes leading contract negotiations, engaging directly in Colorado PUC rate case proceedings, and advocating for the workforce that builds and maintains the state's electric grid. Mr. Maier brings a labor and ratepayer perspective to strengthening Colorado's transmission infrastructure.
